Beginning July 1, 2017, all articles appearing on this blog will use the Christian Standard Bible (CSB) as their primary text of Scripture. Previous articles used the English Standard Version (ESV) as the primary text. But after prayerful consideration and purposeful contemplation, I’ve determined to use CSB in all my studying and writing. Unless otherwise noted, CSB will be the translation of choice. For more insight into this change, read this helpful article by J. A. Medders.
